"Whilst I've done a little writing and
a tiny bit of animation in the past, in order to "resurrect" X-06:
FUTURESPY, in the last few months I've had to become a producer, scriptwriter,
actor, sound effects guy (making whooshing noises with my spit, mainly) editor
and distributer. I've developed a new-found respect for YouTubers creating
"content" - it is bloody hard work, made all the more painful when
you release something, and it only gets a handful of views. Or one, as one
video got.
Why do it then? It isn't to
sell books; I thank those of you who got a copy. I want to share this silly
thing I've made with people. I want to honour my TV heroes. I wanted to get off
my butt and make something - blame Nebula-75 for providing inspiration for
that. Also, I want to try and get some return on decades of sitting in from of
the telly watching Patrick McGoohan or Scott Tracy, or Illya Kuryakin..."
Here's the final product then -
the penultimate episode of X-06: FUTURESPY beaming to you from an alternate
1965 - in full colour. Try to accept my "acting" for what it is...
Avert your eyes when characters walk in such an odd manner... Ignore the
rubbish bits... Maybe you'll find something in it you like?"
