X:06 FUTURESPY returns in the first episode of a series-long story entitled “Convict X”!

In this episode, “Second Time Around”, we find X-06 locked in a prison cell, a ‘guest’ of the Red Bloc Government. No rockets, no ray guns, no gadgets. He’s been stripped of everything apart from his wits. But can he even rely on them?

X-06: FUTURESPY is the cult 1960’s TV show that you can’t remember because it never happened.

Inspired by classic British spy and sci-fi telly of the sixties, X-06: FUTURESPY is deliberately presented as a “lost” old-fashioned period piece. The hisses and crackles you hear on this recording are quite deliberate, as low-fidelity is to be expected from audio retrieved by laser-accelerated spectography from a parallel universe 1966.

X-06 is being reactivated - and rebooted?

X-06: FUTURESPY returns on Friday 19th April in a special episode. X-06 has been reactivated, and also rebooted -There will be some changes! Move to Full-Cast Previously, the show has had only one voice (with a few minor exceptions), with me playing multiple roles in each story and stretching my ability to do accents beyond the limit! I was constantly finding ways to not feature characters whose voice I couldn’t approximate – And it was all getting a bit ridiculous, never hearing any women! A new episode of the X-06: FUTURESPY podcast blasts off later this month. There's just time to catch up on the series so far, but do it quickly as the older episodes will soon 'disappear' for a while to ensure the focus is on the new... The earlier episodes will be permanently available within these pages (Start here ) and can also be found on YouTube. While it may seem counterproductive not to make all episodes easily available, this is being done to try and create demand, to encourage new subscribers who didn't gel with the early episodes, and to not confuse new listeners who may be expecting a full cast production.
