Christmas in Paris offers the ex-secret agent the chance to find himself, and maybe even a little romance. But they don't just let spies resign and walk away, do they?

X-06 better watch out. Santa Claus is coming to town.

It's a complicated episode, this one - at least it was for me to plot it - and very much inspired by the Prisoner. How would Patrick McGoohan have done a "Christmas Special" of the Prisoner? Probably not like this, but you get the idea of what I was aiming for.

Yes, I know the first of December is far too early for Christmas stuff (but my neighbours have their decorations out - so what do I know) but to give this episode as much of a chance of picking up listeners typing "Christmas" into their search bar, I wanted to bring this out a little early. Downloads are rather low at the moment, so I wanted to give this one every chance to do well.

X-06: FUTURESPY returns on Friday 19th April in a special episode. X-06 has been reactivated, and also rebooted -There will be some changes! The latest series, starting this week with an episode called 'The Brain Centre', comes with a few improvements which I hope will meet with the approval of long-term fans. Move to Full-Cast Previously, the show has had only one voice (with a few minor exceptions), with me playing multiple roles in each story and stretching my ability to do accents beyond the limit! I was constantly finding ways to not feature characters whose voice I couldn’t approximate – And it was all getting a bit ridiculous, never hearing any women! A new episode of the X-06: FUTURESPY podcast blasts off later this month. There's just time to catch up on the series so far, but do it quickly as the older episodes will soon 'disappear' for a while to ensure the focus is on the new... The earlier episodes will be permanently available within these pages (Start here ) and can also be found on YouTube. While it may seem counterproductive not to make all episodes easily available, this is being done to try and create demand, to encourage new subscribers who didn't gel with the early episodes, and to not confuse new listeners who may be expecting a full cast production.
