It should have been a simple assignment for 'Space Age Spy' X-06 – to rescue the kidnapped son of a Martian industrialist   – but X-06 didn't count on his father not wanting him back... About X-06: FUTURESPY: X-06: FUTURESPY is the cult 1960’s puppet TV show that you can’t remember because it never happened. Inspired by classic British spy and sci-fi telly of the sixties – Danger Man, Thunderbirds, etc, X-06: FUTURESPY is deliberately presented as a “lost” old-fashioned period piece. The hisses and crackles you hear on this recording are quite deliberate, as low-fidelity sound is to be expected from sound retrieved by hyperspace audio-visualizer from a parallel universe 1965. "Whilst I've done a little  writing  and a tiny bit of animation in the past, in order to "resurrect" X-06: FUTURESPY, in the last few months I've had to become a producer, scriptwriter, actor, sound effects guy (making whooshing noises with my spit, mainly) editor and distributer. I've developed a new-found respect for YouTubers creating "content" - it is bloody hard work, made all the more painful when you release something, and it only gets a handful of views. Or one, as one video got. Why do it then? It isn't to sell books; I thank those of you who got a copy. I want to share this silly thing I've made with people. I want to honour my TV heroes. I wanted to get off my butt and make something - blame Nebula-75 for providing inspiration for that. Also, I want to try and get some return on decades of sitting in from of the telly watching Patrick McGoohan or Scott Tracy, or Illya Kuryakin..." Here's the final product then - the ...
